Toyota recalls Avalon sedans, more Lexus SUVs
The automaker cites a steering-system defect in 373,000 Avalons from the 2000-2004 model years. Also, more of the Lexus LX 470s will be pulled back for an unrelated steering problem. The action pushes the number of recalled Toyota vehicles in the last year to about 9 million.
